ARCHITECTURE

FAMILY HOUSE, BUDAPEST XVI.

The family house plans were made for a family with three children. On the facade, the goal was to create a balance between American colonial and cottage style features and clean contemporary, while the formation had to be solved in such a way as to make it appear as small and "lovely" as possible.

The first and most important task was the compilation of the design program, followed by its floor plan mapping, which is also reflected in the facade architecture from the outside.

Due to the slope of the plot, the house with area of more than 500 m2 fits into the environment with a half-level offset solution with a ground floor and upper floor, and a huge basement storage level accessible from the outside in the part below the street tract.

ARCHITECTURE

HOLIDAY HOME, BALATONBERÉNY

This holiday home was designed for a young couple who love hosting not only family members for vacations but also large gatherings with friends. The stone facade cladding adds playfulness and warmth to the modern style of the building.

ARHITECTURE

FAMILY HOUSE, CSÖMÖR

Our task involved a complete transformation and expansion of an existing small family house for an older couple. Within the existing building, apart from the main living area, we created a separable living space, preparing the house for the need of an eventual accommodation of the elderly parents. Until that becomes necessary, the designated space functions as a workspace and guest room. The extension accommodates the everyday living space, while the basement houses the husband's workshop and office, as well as the wife's dream – a summer kitchen that can be fully opened towards the garden, allowing them to comfortably host the entire extended family.

Both with the shape of the house and the use of colors and materials, we aimed to create a modern building that integrates well into the rural environment.

ARCHITECTURE

EXPANSION OF A HOLIDAY HOME IN MENCSHELY

We envisioned a modern structure, placing particular emphasis on preserving existing trees and creating open spaces around the building – a courtyard and a big terrace. These are the places where the family will gather and spend time together.

The modern design seamlessly integrates into the architecture of the wine region, thanks to the use of natural materials, especially locally quarried stone.

ARCHITECTURE

FAMILY HOUSE, SZENTENDRE

The house was built for an elderly couple, so the primary client request was to create a single-story building that minimally rises from the terrain. It was important that the garage can be directly accessible from the residence – in a convenient manner – so we seamlessly integrated it into the building. The corner plot made it possible to create large openings on all four facades.

ARCHITECTURE

FAMILY HOUSE, BUDAPEST III.

A modern new home for a young family, designed for hosting gatherings with spacious communal areas, an intimate family living room, and separate cozy spaces for everyone. The building seamlessly integrates into the slope, utilizing the natural terrain, resulting in an intimate terrace in the backyard, while the terrace on the opposite side faces the panoramic view.

VISUAL PLAN

PLAN OF THE EGER CASTLE CHAPEL

The model and visual plans were created based on the ruins of the Cathedral Basilica of Eger Castle, depicting its original state and a planned conceptual reconstruction. On the survey plans of the existing ruins, the stones were marked with distinctions based on architectural eras. Utilizing this marking, we represent the artifacts of each era distinctly in the model, ensuring that the result stays true to reality and adds intricacy to the pictures.

The images of the original state evoke a sense of sacredness and spirituality, just like the visuals of the planned state. The difference lies in the religious undertones transitioning into a tribute to the heroes.

The client was Manual Art Ltd., responsible for survey plans and the designer of the restoration concept.
